The Day to Day.

Maintain a clear understanding of OpenTable and its functionality. Make, confirm, map and adjust reservations. Develop and manage guest and reservation notes. Discuss notes, flow of service, and server sections at daily pre-shift meeting. Assist in training team as required on Opentable and host protocols.

Manage guest communications via telephone, email, OpenTable and any other channels. Answer promptly, politely, and professionally.

Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor while overseeing door traffic and managing service flow. Discuss guest satisfaction, investigate and resolve guest feedback.

Work closely with leadership team to plan proper pacing and execute smooth daily service. Communicate with service team about flow and needs. Liaise with DH Maitre D' on Destination Hospitality website updates, holiday and event planning, and media and marketing outreach.

Establish a role as spokesperson for the restaurant within the community and with Destination Hospitality's guests. Build relationships and rapport with return visitors and other local guest facing hospitality professionals.

Contribute to service by being present on the floor and supporting the team in whatever capacity is necessary.

Maintain menu stock. Ensure that all menus and wine books are kept clean, current and in good condition. Maintain exterior menu boxes. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings. Ensure cleanliness and stock levels of host area, entryways and restrooms.

COMPENSATION

$16 - 18/ hr. plus gratuities
