Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing and organizing the operating room for surgical procedures
- Ensuring sterile fields are maintained and following infection control standards
- Handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants
- Managing surgical equipment pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
- Monitoring and maintaining an inventory of supplies for readiness
- Working in tandem with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel for seamless care
- Accurately documenting surgical counts and maintaining records
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required
- BLS certification (or ability to attain within 90 days post-hire)
- In-depth knowledge of surgical techniques and instrumentation across diverse specialties
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset in high-pressure situations
- Ability to swiftly prioritize tasks and meet the demands of the surgical team
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to hygiene and detail
