Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Clinical Resource Management will lead the supply expense initiatives for our clinical resource management program across hospital facilities. This role focuses on driving positive change through the definition and management of clinical expense strategies. You will review and optimize contract portfolios while executing product standardization with value analysis committees. Successful candidates will be confident, proactive, and able to adapt swiftly to changing conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce supply expenses per adjusted admission.
  • Identify and implement improvements in supply expense margins, targeting high-cost departments.
  • Analyze variances in supply expenses and create actionable plans for cost control.
  • Facilitate and lead value analysis meetings at various levels.
  • Utilize committees to assess product and technology benefits, financial implications, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Foster strong relationships with hospital leadership and clinical teams to enhance satisfaction and collaboration.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvement processes for supplies and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital management is necessary.
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in clinical or hospital leadership roles is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications include LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), or Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP).
