Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Resource Director plays a critical role in leading the supply expense strategy for the clinical resource management program across our hospitals. This position is pivotal in fostering positive change through program definition and driving initiatives that support clinical expense management. Primary responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing purchasing contracts and developing product standardization in collaboration with value analysis committees. The role requires strategic partnership with Hospital Leadership, Physicians, and Supply Chain to successfully implement clinical supply expense plans. Ideal candidates will demonstrate independence, urgency, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply expenses per adjusted admission.
• Identify and implement margin improvement opportunities, focusing on high-cost departments such as surgical services, Cath lab, and special procedures.
• Analyze supply expense variances and develop action plans to mitigate costs.
• Facilitate value analysis meetings and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Utilize committees to assess products and technology while ensuring compliance with financial metrics and optimizing quality and outcomes.
• Build relationships to enhance satisfaction among hospital leaders, physicians, and supply chain teams.
• Work collaboratively to develop and implement sustainable improvement processes in supplies, technology, and labor practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in healthcare value analysis or clinical supply chain preferred.
• Master's degree is highly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in value analysis, clinical, or hospital leadership preferred.
• Relevant certifications (LPN/RN, CMRP, CVAHP) are preferred.
