Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse in the Med Surg Flex Team, where you will have the opportunity to work in various departments, including medicine, post-surgical, and emergency care. This position is designed for those who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings.

Work Shift: Night shifts available

Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00

The Clinical Nurse is an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, implementing, and managing the care of patients throughout their treatment journey. You will focus on delivering compassionate, competent care while ensuring smooth transitions within the acute care environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document procedures in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients' conditions.
  • Perform thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided.
  • Demonstrate sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational conditions.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and oversee the care provided by the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with nursing colleagues to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all assigned patients.
  • Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
  • Current Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a must.
  • 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 1 year in a Telemetry or ICU setting.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply them in patient care settings.
