The Clinical Nurse Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders and administer medications.
  • Start IVs, perform various treatments, procedures, and special tests, while documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patients' needs and their responses to the provided care.
  • Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as directed.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
  • Provide direction and guidance to ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
