Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to ensure all necessary equipment is ready for surgical procedures
  • Maintaining sterile fields and closely following infection control protocols
  • Assisting the surgical team by handing instruments and supplies promptly and effectively
  • Managing surgical equipment pre, during, and post-procedure
  • Monitoring and replenishing supplies to guarantee readiness for each operation
  • Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical staff
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and surgical counts
Education Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or its equivalent is necessary
Certifications Needed:
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required
  • BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of starting the position)
