Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting in surgical procedures by efficiently preparing and organizing the operating room
  • Maintaining strict sterile fields and adhering impeccably to infection control guidelines
  • Handing over instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants in a timely manner
  • Preparing and managing surgical equipment for optimal performance before, during, and after each procedure
  • Monitoring availability and readiness of supplies for every operation
  • Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure continuous, excellent patient care
  • Maintaining precise documentation and surgical count records.
Education Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized Surgical Technology Program
  • High school diploma or equivalent needed
Certifications Needed:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required
  • BLS certification (or the ability to acquire within 90 days of hire)
Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Thorough understanding of surgical instruments and procedures across various specialties
