High-Level Individual Duties:
  • Performing manual and automation testing for web/mobile portals (60/40, manual/auto)
  • Emphasis on manual testing vs automation and a focus on API layer is important
  • 2:1 Dev: QA environment
  • Troubleshooting
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
  • 1-2 years of automation development with JavaScript technologies
  • Strong manual testing experience for web/mobile applications
  • JavaScript/Typescript experience
  • WDIO is preferred, but open to other tools like Cypress or Playwright (anything that runs on a Node platform)
  • API testing, Postman etc.
  • Problem solver mentality
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Mobile application testing
  • Cucumber/BDD


Description: Automation and manual testing for the Spectrum Portals applications.
Utilize E2E testing stack (required): WebdriverIO, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Cucumber.
Preferred: Postman, Chrome Developer's Console, TestRails
Write both manual and automated test cases/scripts and execute them in all phases of the software development life-cycle.
Manage and enforce detailed accessibility, analytics, and functional requirements while collaborating with Product, Design, and Development partners to ensure quality standards are met for all requirements.

Required Skills : MUST HAVE: good communication, 2 years of automation development with WDIO, Cypress, or Playwright and JS/TS coding experience. MUST HAVE STRONG Postman, API testing. Ok with doing 60% manual testing. Ability to do live coding in an interview. Cucumber and Mobile testing are HUGE pluses
