This role as an Onsite Sr. Automation QA Engineer in Denver, CO will be responsible for maintaining existing smoke, sanity and regression test scripts stability/reliability, develop new test automation scripts for new features and maintain the automation coverage, and run daily test runs (smoke and sanity test suites) through a scheduler. This role is On-site in Denver.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing smoke, sanity and regression test scripts stability/reliability >95% for JS 10ft, JS 3ft,Roku and Android platforms.
  • Develop new test automation scripts for new features and maintain the automation coverage >80%.
  • Run daily test runs (smoke and sanity test suites) through a scheduler in either the Denver or Bangalore office for LG, Xbox, FireTV, browser, Android TV, analyze and publish the results.
Requirements:
  • Strong 6+ years Test Automation experience in Test Automation and with Javascript or Python strong programming skills.
  • Advantage to have experience in JS based automation Framework (CodeceptJS, Cypress, Jasmine, Nightwatch, Protractor etc.) CodeceptJS preferred
  • Good hands-on experience in Javascript
  • Automation experience on mobile platforms
  • Well versed with Git / SVN / Bitbucket code mgmt. tools
  • Good understanding on QA principles and processes
  • Highly competent with one or more Agile methodologies; Scrum and Kanban preferred.
  • Able to handle technical discussion with client.
  • Collaborate with backend development team and other team members to create quicker issue resolution.
  • Self-starter and should be able to work independently without much supervision
  • Should Have a high sense of responsibility, communicative and self-organized
  • Follow Agile methodology with active participation in sprint planning, sprint review and daily stand-up meeting
