Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of residents during your shifts.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Check vital signs and report any abnormalities to supervising staff.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment by managing hazards and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Transport residents safely within the facility.
  • Offer companionship and support to residents, fostering their dignity and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with visitors, family members, and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certifications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care procedures.
  • Strong organizational and observational skills.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
