Job Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate nursing care in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute care settings.
  • Monitor residents' health and welfare during shifts.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and daily living activities (ADLs).
  • Check vital signs (temperature, blood pressure) and report any abnormalities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring proper hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Assist in transporting residents as needed.
  • Offer companionship and support the dignity of residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff during shifts.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certifications
  • Fluency in medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Strong organizational, observational, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
