Job Description

  • Prototype, design, and implement innovative security solutions to tackle complex challenges.

  • Lead the development of security tools, including automated scanning solutions.

  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure the design and architecture of secure systems through effective Threat Modeling and simulations.

  • Advocate for and advise on secure software development lifecycle practices.

  • Design and integrate mechanisms for verification and security posture reporting.

  • Establish best practices for security configuration and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Over 5 years of experience in security engineering or a comparable field.

  • Demonstrated experience in creating automated security solutions.

  • Strong background in security practices, especially in:

    • Defensive Security
    • Offensive Security
    • Service Architecture and Design Patterns

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in scaling operational activities using Python, Bash, and other tools.

  • DevOps or SRE experience managing large, distributed, continuously deployed services.

  • Proficiency in operating large, distributed, continuously deployed services.

  • Expertise in designing database schemas in both NoSQL and SQL.

  • Knowledge of integrating security engineering requirements into the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience in security training and mentoring.

  • Familiarity with statistical and mathematical predictive modeling.

  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.

  • Proven experience designing resilient systems that enable quick recovery.

  • Experience with container orchestration and management.

  • History of collaborating with software development teams, data scientists, and other technical roles.

  • Experience with Java or Python development is a plus.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,400 to $199,500 per annum. Eligible for bonus and equity opportunities.
