SUMMARY: Thisposition will assist the President in leading the daily operations of thefacility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for assisting with financialoversight of skilled nursing including but not limited to reviewing financialstatements, reviewing invoices, budget development, and financial forecastingfor revenue and expenses for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living
- Assists in reviewing policies/procedures andoperational efficiency makes recommendations for change to the Director ofNursing and President
- Responsible for ensuring delivery ofhigh-quality care and services by working with the Director of Nursing andidentifying resident needs and operational deficits
- Responsible for maintaining a high level ofCustomer Service and Resident Satisfaction
- Promote Employee retention and engagement
- Responsible for addressing concerns brought upthrough Resident Council, Resident Satisfaction reports, Employee SatisfactionReports, Grievance Committee
- Responsible for oversight of the Payroll BasedJournal (PBJ) and its submission to CMS
- Responsible for reviewing the Risk ManagementDashboard and Signing Off upon completion
- Assist in operation of the facility inaccordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing bodyin compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Enforce the facility policies and procedures
- Responsible for being a driver of the QAPIprocess
- Act as liaison to the governing body for themedical, nursing and professional staff and all facility departments
- Prepare all reports as required byAdministrator
- Prepare written personnel policies andindividual job descriptions
- Participate in the recruitment, employment,scheduling, performance, evaluation, promotion, and termination of staff
- Participate in the scheduling, planning andprocuring of materials and information for staff meetings and in-serviceeducation programs
- Interpret all federal, state and localregulations for the facility staff
- Act as a liaison between the facility andregulatory agencies, fiscal intermediaries and resident advocacy agencies
- Develop one-to-one relationships with residentsand families
- Develop relationships with community agenciesproviding services of benefit to the facility

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required. Must be a Licensed Nursing HomeAdministrator in the State of Ohio Long term care experience, 1-3 years. Prior supervisory experience required.
