Virginia ABC is currently seeking applicants for the Retail Support Analyst position. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of retail processes and systems. This position involves comprehensive oversight of data management, and administrative support critical to maintaining efficient retail operations. The Specialist collaborates across various departments, leveraging technical expertise and organizational skills to facilitate effective communication and operational improvements.

This position is a wage position and is limited to 29 hours per week with no benefits, not to exceed 1500 hours per year.

Areas of Responsibility

Inventory Management
  • Tracks the completion of physical inventories in stores and reconciles results.
  • Manages inventory records on SharePoint and assists with annual APA audit requirements.
  • Order supplies, sources items, and prepares cost analysis as needed
Change Management
  • Documents process changes and assist with updates to Retail job aids and / or store templates.
  • Assists with the coordination, scheduling, and communication of systems or process changes.
  • Retrieves data for analysis and prepares reports to assist with leadership decision-making.
  • Attends interdivisional meetings as an advocate representing Retail. Takes detailed notes and provides
Data Analysis
  • Assists with gathering information and compiling data for project progress and divisional KPI measures and annual reports
  • Creates and maintains databases tracking store and District Manager performance. Provides analysis and reporting as needed to leadership.
  • Creates and maintains project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, and providing timely reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Expertise in Microsoft office platforms with a high level of Excel knowledge for analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to gather & utilize necessary information to complete assignments as scheduled.
  • Experience with data collection, analysis & reporting in a business environment.
  • Customer service, inventory and administrative support experience.
