Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking a well-qualified candidate for the position of Business Development Manager (BDM) as a remote position, located in the Pacific Standard Time Zone, with preference in California.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving AIPC's IT/Datacom business and expanding the New Product pipeline. This role requires the development and execution of a strategic plan to identify high-potential markets, target customers, and assess the competitive landscape. The BDM will actively prospect for new business within these markets and work closely with the Sales team to convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate ongoing conversations to refine current product offerings and generate new ideas.
• Manage product margin at both the overall customer level and within new programs.
• Create and submit quote proposals for internal review and approval.
• Understand broader market trends and dynamics to support:

  • Go-to-market and marketing strategies
  • Other commercial initiatives that drive success

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Degree in Engineering or Marketing
• 5+ years' relevant experience with working knowledge of Sales and Marketing in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth industry; willing to be hands-on and take initiative
• Solid presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to interact well with customers
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and cross-cultural teams at various locations
• Ability to think strategically and develop marketing/sales strategies utilizing various sources of information.
• Ability to listen to customers and develop rapport and trust of customers throughout the sales process
• Strong technical skills to assist in understanding the technological challenge of target customers and to be able to identify relevant technology trends in key markets
• Travel is required, both domestic and international
