The Position:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters across assigned business groups.
- Investigate employee complaints, grievances, and workplace incidents in compliance with company policies
and applicable laws. - Conduct regular site visits to meet with employees, supervisors, and leadership to build trust, gather feedback,
and address employee concerns.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues, including
performance management, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. - Partner with HR colleagues to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and practices.
- Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Document and maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, investigations, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
The Candidate:
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work
experience). - Three or more years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist work, or a related role.
- Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or field-based industry strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time to project sites across assigned regions
