WE Transport is looking for drivers in Suffolk County, Long Island. While a CDL license is advantageous, we provide PAID CDL training for newcomers

What We Offer:

  • Flexible Schedule: Split-shift with morning and afternoon routes
  • Guaranteed Hours: 25-30 hours per week
  • PAID CDL Permit Training
  • $5000 Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses with P & S endorsements
  • Starting Pay Rate for Van Drivers: $24.37 (Must have CDL A, B or C with P and S Endorsement)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport students to and from school using a school bus or van.
  • Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior for a secure ride.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws, along with district protocols and standards.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any concerns.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Hold a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or be willing to obtain through our free training).
  • Non-CDL drivers must possess a valid driver's license and complete CDL permit training.
