WE Transport is currently hiring in Suffolk County, Long Island. While a CDL license is a plus, we offer PAID CDL training to help you get started if you don't have one
What We Offer:
- Flexible Schedule: Enjoy split-shifts with morning and afternoon availability
- Guaranteed Hours: Work 25-30 hours per week
- PAID CDL Permit Training
- $5000 Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses with P & S endorsements
- Starting Pay Rate for Van Drivers: $24.37 (Must have CDL A, B or C with P and S Endorsement to qualify)

Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school.
- Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as district requirements and standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
- Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willingness to obtain through our free training).
- Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver's license and complete CDL permit training.
