Job Summary:

As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure safe and effective care in the operating room. Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating specialized skills required for surgical technology.
  • Preparing the surgical suite with supplies and instruments.
  • Maintaining surgical asepsis at all times.
  • Assisting with room turnover and cleaning processes.
  • Preparing the procedure room for the next day’s surgeries.

Qualifications: To qualify for this role, you should possess:

  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Surgical Tech Certification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
  • A valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

The El Paso Surgery Center - West is renowned for providing high-quality ambulatory surgical care, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We perform around 90 cases per month across various specialties, including pain management, orthopedic, and hand surgery, all within AAAHC accreditation standards.
