Role Responsibilities
- Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established guidelines.
- Evaluate test findings for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
- Assist with specimen collections and prepare samples for testing, as necessary.
- Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to the maintenance of lab quality standards.
- Ensure a tidy, secure working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health discipline, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
- Maintain current certification throughout your tenure with us.
