System Administrator

Location: Warminster, Pennsylvania (ON-SITE) Clearance REQUIRED: Top Secret/SCI Certification REQUIRED: Security+ (or 8570 equivalent) Top Desired Skills: VMware, Advanced Linux Administration, LDAP Authentication and Management, Enterprise Storage Resources; Systems Management (SCCM, Centrify, Puppet/Foreman, Redhat Satellite), Systems Integration in a Heterogeneous Network Environment, Active Directory/Group Policy, High-Level Networking Skill Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science and Technology, or a related Engineering/Science degree is preferred.
Skills Overview: 1. 5+ years of experience administrating operations systems and basic network infrastructure skills 2. Should have 5+ years experience with Linux, LDAP, and enterprise storage or systems management (SCCM/puppet/etc.) (VMWare and high level networking skills/experience helpful) 3. Adept at building working relationships and communicating with workers and leadership (the candidate will be the liaison for IT, working with leadership and PI's independently, and communicating back to the core team)
Responsibilities Include: Administration of various operating system distributions; support server and network infrastructure Oversee the installation and configuration of systems to comply with Government regulations Implement system and software testing Respond and evaluate system and network security incidents Maintain and update documentation for systems and networks Evaluate potential equipment components and software Present system and network security principles and technology solutions to diverse audiences Routinely interact with other Information Technology professionals Provide specialized guidance and customer support to staff and customers
