JOB TITLE: Sr Business Analyst
LOCATION: Remote
PAY RANGE: $25.24 - $28.75/hr
DURATION: 7 months

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Develop, research, test, and implement business process improvements, procedures, and system changes
  • Use independent judgment to gather, analyze, and evaluate information to recommend improvements to business processes and systems
  • Develop alternative perspectives and anticipate future business needs to support management decision-making and maintain competitive advantage
  • Research external market trends and internal business operations to identify patterns and best practices
  • pply advanced analytical skills to develop business process models, procedures, and system enhancements
  • Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and executing process improvement strategies
  • Evaluate proposed business process changes and document corporate-level business impacts and benefits
  • ct as a subject matter expert by defining business requirements for process improvements and system enhancements
  • Conduct effective interviews and research to identify stakeholders and document business needs and requirements
  • Mentor team members on requirements methodology and analysis best practices
  • Review technical design deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Support business stakeholders in user acceptance testing (UAT), defect reporting, and issue resolution, including leading these activities when needed
  • Identify training and development needs, including documentation, communications, manuals, and change materials
  • Provide post-implementation support, including issue resolution, procedural adjustments, and change management
  • Develop and present materials, models, findings, plans, and recommendations to stakeholders
Job Specifications / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in data gathering, research and analytics, problem identification, and solution recommendation development
  • 4+ years of experience in financial and risk analysis, including cost-benefit analysis and business case preparation
  • 4+ years of experience with project planning techniques and methodologies
  • 4+ years of experience in business process analytics using Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams, and workflow modeling
  • Proven ability to document, propose, negotiate, and present solutions and recommendations
  • Strong ability to visualize and plan for future business outcomes and organizational change
  • Thorough understanding of business impacts, project interdependencies, and system interfaces
  • Demonstrated conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
