A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WATER MITIGATION TECHNICIAN

As a Water Mitigation Technician at 1st Response Plumbing & Flood Damage, your trusty van is loaded with cutting-edge equipment, and you're ready for whatever challenges the day throws your way. The first call comes in, and you spring into action.

One moment, you're helping a homeowner whose basement has turned into an indoor swimming pool due to a burst pipe. With precision and skill, you quickly assess the situation, extracting water and setting up powerful drying equipment. As the day unfolds, you move from one scenario to the next: a flooded kitchen in the morning, a leaking faucet by lunchtime, and an unexpected bathroom drain clog in the middle of the night. You're the first responder, the hero, and the solution to their water-related woes.

TO EMBARK ON THIS ADVENTURE, HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • WTR technician certification
  • MUST HAVE experience in the field
While not required, these are highly desired:
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish
  • Valid driver's license
  • A self-starter with initiative and self-motivation


SCHEDULE

You'll find yourself based in the heart of National City, CA, working full-time from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
