Your Daily Duties Will Include:
- Assisting surgical teams by preparing the operating room, ensuring everything is in place for every procedure
- Maintaining a sterile environment and following stringent infection control measures
- Efficiently passing surgical instruments and supplies to the surgeons and their assisting team
- Managing surgical equipment meticulously throughout the surgical process
- Monitoring inventory to guarantee readiness before each operation
- Collaborating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure a synchronized approach to patient care
- Documenting surgical counts with precision and clarity
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required
- Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days post-hire)
- Thorough knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures spanning various specialties
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for high-pressure situations
