Facilities Operations Manager

Your Role in Action:
- Plans, implements, coordinates, and manages all mechanical operations, and maintenance, repairs, minor modification, and upgrades.
- Conducts quarterly inspections of all sites to ensure physical building and site infrastructure quality and safety are maintained.
- Supervises assigned maintenance staff, assigns work orders and tracks preventative maintenance.
- Monitor daily work orders. Institute procedures to reduce re-occurring calls. Supervise call resolution and completion. Review monthly work order reporting with Management.
- Administers service contracts with assigned contractors/vendors providing building services to the agency for assigned contractors/vendors reviews invoices and reports for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
- Responsible for after-hours emergency calls as primary contact.
- Evaluates assigned staff performance as appropriate.
- Negotiates with assigned contractors and service vendors for provision of goods related to Agency property and buildings.
- Provides inspection and oversight of assigned construction and renovation projects.
- Ensures compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agencies and company directives as relates to building operations.
- Implements and administers inventory control programs/purchase parts and supplies.
- Complies with Agency safety and health requirements.
- Manage periodic and routine maintenance on all facilities to include general repairs, painting, and up-keep.
- Complete repairs and maintenance items as needed. Keep logs as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Is flexible to meet changing Agency needs.
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education diploma.
- 7 years of experience required in the construction, maintenance, operations, and repairs of large buildings including at least 3
years experience in a management position.
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable on the Agency policy.
