Schedule Details:
This full-time position consists of evening shifts, either 8 or 10 hours long, Monday through Friday, with occasional overnight on-call duties (5-8 call slots and 1-2 weekend call slots within an 8-week schedule).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures while maintaining optimal patient care.
  • Assisting with aseptic surgical techniques and ensuring a sterile field.
  • Setting up and maintaining the operating room environment efficiently and safely.
  • Supporting surgeons as a Second Assistant when necessary.
  • Transporting patients and assisting with their positioning while following safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (to be obtained within 6 months).
  • No prior surgical technologist experience required.

Physical Requirements:
This position demands the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while lifting and transferring patients and equipment. Candidates must meet specific physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing frequent mobility tasks.
