The Virginia Museum of History & Culture is seeking a dynamic and organized Contract Events Coordinator to manage and execute events. This role involves coordinating logistics, liaising with vendors, and ensuring smooth event operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish
- Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders
- Oversee event logistics including setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting
- Manage event budgets and timelines
- Ensure compliance with museum policies and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees and partners

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
