Job Description: The Workflow Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing efficiency within our assembly processes by aiding management in tracking, documenting, and processing schedules based on sales orders, alongside supporting inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate work orders for assembly/sub-assembly based on sales orders and warehouse stock plans.
  • Monitor work orders to ensure correct creation, allocation, tracking, and closure.
  • Prepare work assignments for sales orders and print necessary documentation.
  • Assign tasks to team members based on workload and sales orders.
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouses to verify inventory accuracy and system data.
  • Address system issues related to inventory and team member assignments.
  • Collaborate with the team leader and General Manager to meet stock levels and complete work assignments for shipments.
  • Support warehouse operations as required to fulfill daily objectives.
  • Coordinate with the quality department on supplier returns, ensuring accurate system entries.
  • Provide next-day appointment schedules to team members by 2:30 PM daily.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to Satellite standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Inventory Management:

  • Collaborate with on-site and remote team members to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist material handlers in verifying received supplies for accuracy and specifications; conduct cycle counts to reduce inventory errors.
  • Compare purchase order, invoice, and shipping information with materials received or issued for accuracy verification.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an ERP-centric manufacturing coordination role.
  • Experience in creating work orders from sales orders while working with sales support and management on order issues.
  • Associate's degree preferred but not mandatory.

Physical/Mental Demands: The position requires a high level of concentration amidst frequent interruptions while adhering to strict deadlines. The role involves routine use of office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers, as well as the ability to move files, open cabinets, and alternate between sitting and standing. Occasional driving may be necessary.
