Electrical Distribution Engineer / Distribution Engineering QC Auditor
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL. 60181
Long term temp to perm hire assignment
Hybrid schedule: Mon & Fri at home. Tu,Wed,Th at the office

JOB SCOPE
  • Perform Reviews, QA/QC checks and Design Audits on Distribution Engineering Designs.
  • Perform Engineering Audits with limited scope on Distribution Engineering Designs.
  • Subject Matter Expert for distribution system.
  • Ability to use PoleForeman, AS8 are a plus.
  • Knows ComEd Construction Specifications and Standards.
  • Should have a good command / Knowledge of Distribution Design. (like 5+ yrs.)
  • Engineering Designs auditor. Doing spot checks on internal distribution designs. Key auditor for DER program. Someone that could be retired or worked on COMED/Exelon system. Familiar with distribution engineering designs. Identify key things and ensure accuracy. Leveraging designs and comed cspecs and ensuring the designs are to the specs. Not doing actual designs but doing spot checks of designs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Distribution Engineering experience.
Needs to know ComEd specs and standards.
QA/QC experience nice to have.
DER experience is a plus.
Preferable previous ComEd Engineering Experience either as a ComEd employee or as a contractor.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Strong Distribution Design experience.
