Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to support surgical procedures
  • Ensuring the maintenance of sterile environments and adherence to infection control protocols
  • Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by providing necessary instruments and supplies
  • Managing and preparing surgical tools before, during, and after surgical operations
  • Keeping an inventory of supplies and confirming readiness for each specified operation
  • Working collaboratively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to ensure cohesive care
  • Accurate maintenance of surgical counts and pertinent documentation
Education Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
Certifications Needed:
  • Valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential
  • BLS certification (or willingness to secure within 90 days of employment)
