About this Opportunity:
We're hiring a Front-end Loader to join the team at a company in Saint Paul, MN
What You'll Be Doing:
• Complete all mandatory training, including SMI safety standards and loader operation demonstrations.
• Safely operate, inspect, and maintain the loader; promptly report any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues.
• Step in for the supervisor during their absence (e.g., sick or on vacation), learn plant operations, monitor performance, and step in to manage operations when necessary.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and refuel equipment according to established safety procedures.
• Load trucks and hoppers, transport materials to designated areas, and accurately track load counts.
• Identify and report potential cross-contamination risks and environmental hazards, including odors, litter, and pests.
• Immediately report all incidents, accidents, and near-misses to the shift supervisor.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and consistently wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operate additional equipment as needed, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• Change out trash compactors as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
