Department Details

Join us for 12-hour shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM. Your schedule will include one day a week, plus every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will deliver qualified nursing care for residents of all ages in our long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. You will engage with our residents, demonstrating knowledge of nursing principles while addressing the physical and psychosocial needs according to care plans. Your responsibilities involve:

  • Evaluating patient status through effective testing and care provision.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Documenting resident interactions and care outcomes accurately.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Providing education and support to residents and their families on treatment plans.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with a preference for an Associate degree.
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Experience in nursing across the lifespan, with a minimum of 400 hours as an LPN preferred.
  • Competency in IV therapy when applicable, governed by state-specific requirements.
  • Continuous commitment to education and training in nursing practices.
