Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking skilled ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our dedicated team.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform x-ray testing, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology, to ensure high-quality patient care. You will operate diagnostic equipment, develop images, prepare examination rooms, and assist with medical tasks to support our healthcare team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position but are not exhaustive. Additional duties may be assigned.
- Welcome patients warmly in waiting and examination areas.
- Communicate wait times effectively to patients and guide them through the treatment process.
- Address patient concerns and seek assistance in emergent situations.
- Conduct efficient follow-up calls.
- Assist front desk staff with patient check-in/out when necessary.
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, current medications, and allergies.
- Assist in patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
- Adhere to documentation protocols for patient visits.
- Execute timely radiology procedures for physician evaluation and treatment.
- Perform essential quality control procedures to guarantee high-standard exams.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and care protocols.
- Maintain equipment functionality, reporting malfunctions to management or providers.
- Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance diagnostic imaging skills.
- Ensure maintenance of current licensure and certification for radiology equipment.
WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
High school diploma or equivalent
BLS Certification
AR State X-Ray License
ARRT Certification preferred
Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations in Arkansas and is part of Urgent Team, a leading independent operator of urgent and family care centers across the Southeast. Our walk-in centers offer a range of healthcare services, including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health services, and wellness care. Our centers are open seven days a week with varying hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Moreover, all Baptist Health Urgent Care facilities are Accredited Care Centers, recognized by the Urgent Care Association for their commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive services.
