Join Our Team As a Surgical Technologist I specializing in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in our Operating Room Team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Schedule Details: This is a full-time position on the evening shift with options for 8 or 10-hour shifts. You will participate in on-call duties, primarily overnight and on weekends, with the requirement of arriving within 30 minutes when called.

- Competitive pay ranging from $26.10 to $39.15, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $2,000 bonus for PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Assist surgeons by anticipating needs, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
- Set up operating rooms and manage equipment safety and efficiency.
- Transport patients and supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
- Understand and apply knowledge of various surgical procedures and techniques.
Qualifications:
- A completed program in Surgical Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- No previous experience required; a commitment to providing excellent patient care is essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull with moderate force, and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to various medical hazards and a requirement to wear protective gear.
