You will play a vital role in expanding Jefferies' technology investment banking practice while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Leveraged Finance for leading technology firms. Associates are actively involved in daily transaction execution, gaining meaningful client interaction and live deal experience on streamlined transaction teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support senior bankers in transaction due diligence and execution on a day-to-day basis.
  • Draft and contribute to the delivery of marketing pitches, confidential offering memoranda, and management presentations.
  • Develop comprehensive target lists for potential buyers, investors, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct thorough industry research and trend analyses.
  • Perform intricate financial modeling and valuation analyses.
  • Mentor and guide Analysts to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

Required Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree with an exemplary academic record.
  • 3-5 years of investment banking transaction advisory experience.
  • A highly motivated, confident, and passionate individual.
  • Willing to reside in San Francisco or relocate.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while meeting stringent deadlines.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in supporting engagement teams in equity financing, sell-side, buy-side, and general advisory M&A engagements, particularly within the Technology-Enabled Services investment banking group.
  • Ability to create compelling pitch materials.
  • Expertise in overseeing due diligence processes.

The salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000.
