As a Surgical Technologist I, you will assist in creating a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures. This role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe surgical area, ensuring optimal patient care.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques for preparing surgical materials and equipment.
  • Effectively set up the operating room for each procedure.
  • Function as a Second Assistant when required.
  • Address equipment and supply issues promptly.
  • Transport patients and/or equipment safely.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care needs.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • No prior experience is necessary; we will train dedicated candidates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring physical stamina.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Exposure to various hazards; appropriate protective gear will be provided.
