Employee Benefits Account Manager-Producer

A highly regarded independent agency is expanding its Employee Benefits team and seeking a motivated Account Manager to handle small to mid-sized group clients (20+ employees). This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic professional with 1-2+ years of benefits experience who enjoys building relationships, mastering plan details, and delivering exceptional service.

Role Highlights
  • Service and maintain a portfolio of employee benefits clients with excellence.
  • Coordinate renewals, open enrollments, billing, and client communications.
  • Prepare plan comparisons and assist with quoting across level-funded, self-funded, and fully insured products.
  • Support producers, carriers, and clients through every stage of policy management.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, reliability, and professional growth.
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of Employee Benefits experience (agency or carrier side).
  • Knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary products.
  • Familiarity with major carriers: BCBS, Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, UHC, Delta Dental, etc.
  • Licensed in Life & Health (MA).
  • Detail-oriented communicator who values accuracy and service.
Compensation & Perks
  • Base salary range: $70,000 - $90,000.
  • Supportive leadership, training opportunities, and clear path for advancement.
