Requirements

Must have:
  • I hold a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Data Analytics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
  • I possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property/casualty insurance, with preferable exposure to product forms & endorsements, claims auditing, or analytics.
  • I have strong analytical abilities with experience in data extraction, transformation, modeling, and interpretation. I am proficient in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is strongly preferred.
  • I demonstrate experience in drafting or assisting with insurance policy forms, endorsements, or rulebooks, as well as managing regulatory filings in state insurance departments.
  • I have experience or knowledge of claims auditing processes, policy administration systems, or insurance system testing, which is highly beneficial.
  • I am capable of interpreting insurance contracts, policy language, endorsements, regulatory statutes, and circulars.
  • I possess strong documentation skillscapable of writing clear business and functional requirements, creating test scripts, user-acceptance criteria, audit reports, and procedural documentation.
  • I have excellent communication (both written and verbal), organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • I can work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional environment.
  • I have knowledge of property insurance products and the processes between underwriting, claims, product/filing, and compliance functions.

Responsibilities:

  • I analyze large datasets (including policy, underwriting, claims, production, and retention) to identify trends, irregularities, opportunities, and risk indicators.
  • I plan and execute audits of claim files, policy files, endorsements, and forms to verify their completeness, accuracy, compliance with filed forms, and adherence to internal controls.
  • I support or lead the development, revision, and maintenance of policy forms, endorsements, manuals, rulebooks, and product documentation.
  • I prepare and file policy forms, endorsements, and product documentation with state insurance departments and regulatory authorities, tracking approval statuses and maintaining audit trails.
  • I define and document business, functional, and technical requirements for system changes, enhancements, or new product features (including rating rules, form modifications, and policy administration workflows).
  • I test system changes (unit, integration, user acceptance) to ensure accurate implementation of product rules, forms, endorsements, and rating logic, while documenting defects and monitoring resolution.
  • I collaborate with product management, underwriting, actuarial, claims, compliance, and IT teams to ensure that product documentation, filings, business rules, and system logic reflect our current strategy, regulatory requirements, and market competitiveness.
  • I maintain a forms matrix and tracking system to ensure that all forms and endorsements are up-to-date, approved for use, correctly versioned, and accessible to users.
  • I monitor regulatory, statutory, and competitor developments in the property insurance market and analyze their implications for product forms, endorsements, pricing, and regulatory filing strategies.
  • I recommend procedural and process enhancements (for forms management, filings workflow, audit processes, data analytics capabilities, and system testing practices) to improve efficiency, governance, and data integrity.
  • I manage multiple concurrent tasks, communicate statuses to stakeholders, escalate issues as necessary, and prioritize work to meet deadlines and regulatory/filing commitments.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000.00 $80,000.00 per year.
