Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Educational Background: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital environment.
  • Certifications:
    • One of the following: ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T), or NMTCB.
    • Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Department of Health.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a preference for candidates with previous management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise personnel and ensure effective operations within assigned sections.
  • Lead meetings to foster collaboration and support team success.
  • Manage inventory, maintain equipment service records, and coordinate with vendors for optimal equipment functioning.
  • Analyze data to identify relevant issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Utilize resources efficiently to meet departmental productivity standards.
