Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles.
- Continuously enhance your skills while working on both domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to address customer concerns efficiently.
- Maintain our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workplace.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any issues.
- Support fellow technicians in problem-solving and achieving great results.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of high-level diagnostic experience.
- ASE Certifications preferred; a plan to achieve them is essential, with Master L1 being preferred.
- Proficient in electrical diagnostics and able to read schematics.
- Willingness to work 50-60 hours per week.
- A strong desire for long-term career development.
- Ability to diagnose and work on all makes and models.
- Must have own toolbox and tools.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable status required.
- Adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Low comeback rate and commitment to excellence.
- A team player who supports the growth of peers.
- Open to coaching from colleagues and supervisors.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- High proficiency with technology.
- Familiarity with various manufacturer software and diagnostic tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate work performed through digital means.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles raised above head height.
- Must be able to stand for most of the shift.
- Capable of crouching, squatting, and kneeling for short durations.
- Ability to work in tight spaces for necessary repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Sufficiently navigate a computer.
