Qualifications
- Post secondary training in office/business administration; A.S. preferred.
- Three to five years' experience as executive secretary preferred
- Strong organizational skills in coordinating details, maintaining information and records are essential
- ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities
- Advanced computer/keyboarding skills, including Windows 2000, Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Provides clerical support for the principal to assure efficient operation of this office.
- Greets visitors, students and employees, both in person and on the phone, to assess and meet their needs.
- Prepares and processes correspondence, reports and other required paperwork.
- Works cooperatively and interacts efficiently with other school departments.
- Obtains, gathers, and organizes data as needed and puts it into usable forms.
- Maintains a regular filing system including confidential employee files.
- Operates computers, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines.
- Performs other dutes as assigned.
