Job Description:

Pay Range: $80.71hr - $85.71hr
  • The SAP ABAP Developer will work in a collaborative team environment to design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions in support of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP initiatives.
  • This role focuses on delivering high-quality ABAP developments for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) to meet evolving business process requirements.
  • The developer will also support SAP upgrades, implement best practices, and contribute to transitioning from on-premise S/4HANA developments to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP development.
  • Strong programming experience with ABAP Objects, including enhancements, BADIs, user exits, and BAPIs.
  • Experience with RICEF objects - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
  • Expertise in SmartForms, SAPscript, and Adobe Interactive Forms.
  • Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver development technologies (Web Dynpro, Java, Visual Composer, xApps Analytics).

  • Experience supporting SAP system upgrades and applying SAP Notes.

Experience:
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including ABAP development, client/server technologies, and relational databases.
  • 3-7 years of SAP implementation experience using the ASAP methodology.
  • Prior experience with SAP NetWeaver 2004, SAP Solution Manager 4.0, SAP Business Warehouse 7.0, and SAP ECC 6.0.
  • Experience in Retail or similar business domains preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Provide technical support for custom ABAP developments and collaborate with SAP functional teams.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of SAP BTP developments and transitions from on-premise S/4HANA systems.
  • Create and maintain technical specifications, configuration documentation, and test plans.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization of ABAP programs.
  • Identify system improvements, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Support SAP system upgrades and implement SAP Notes as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize SAP operations and enhance system performance.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to internal team members.
  • Contribute to the introduction and adoption of SAP NetWeaver and BTP technologies.
Should Have:
  • Knowledge of SAP workflow, LSMW, IDocs/ALE.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori development and integration.
  • Experience with modern SAP development methodologies (e.g., OData, CDS Views, RAP).
  • Exposure to SAP cloud application programming model (CAP) is a plus.
Skills:
  • BAP Objects, BADI, BAPI, SmartForms, Adobe Forms.
  • SAP BTP development and integration.
  • SAP NetWeaver technologies.
  • Workflow, IDocs, ALE, LSMW.
  • SAP Fiori/UI5 experience (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
