Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of recent emergency medicine experience
License: Michigan Medical License required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
Must-Have:
Board Certified
Provider must be local
Clean background for quick credentialing required
Description:
This assignment is strictly onsite.
There is no call associated with this position.
Patients per day are approximately 80, averaging 1.8 patients per hour for physicians.
Support staff includes Advanced Practice Providers for 12 hours, full emergency department support with nursing and technology, and access to full radiology and laboratory services.
Current electronic health record system in use is Cerner.
Procedures and skills required include adult and pediatric outpatient care, newborn resuscitation, management of non-displaced fractures, suturing of minor lacerations, incision drainage, and various psychiatric evaluations.
Experience in managing common industrial-related medical issues, central and arterial line placement, EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, and paracentesis is required.
Travel must comply with company travel policy.
Malpractice coverage must be included in the rate submission.
Employee health requirements include proof of flu vaccine for the current season, COVID documentation, and various immunization records.
Candidates will need to present documentation for health requirements for consideration.
