Concrete Laborer

Job Title: Concrete Laborer Job Description

Assist experienced Operators with general labor duties while learning core drilling, concrete sawing, cutting, and removal of concrete.

Responsibilities

• Cut, saw, lift, and core drill concrete.

• Maintain equipment including vehicles, diamond blades, flat saws, core drills, wall saws, jackhammers, and small tools.

• Ensure inspection, general maintenance, security, and cleanliness of all company equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in labor roles, preferably in construction, demolition, or plumbing.

• Solid mechanical aptitude.

• Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work in challenging conditions such as rain, cold, and heat.

• Ability to lift and be mobile with 45 lbs. or more.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with wall saws, core drills, flat saws, handsaws, ring saws, and compressor tools such as jackhammers is preferred.

• Ability to operate a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.

• Vast knowledge within the construction industry and willingness to learn.

• 1+ years of construction experience.

• Flexible availability, including overtime and possible weekends.

• Familiarity with working outside in hot and cold weather conditions with a civil site contractor.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

Work Environment

Outdoor and construction site work environment. Work environments will vary, making it necessary to tolerate weather conditions such as rain and extreme temperatures. Employees may be exposed to dust, dirt, varying temperatures, and loud noises.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
