  • Ideally seeking a candidate open to Temp-to-Perm transition.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Works under direct clinical supervision of the sleep medicine physician to prepare sleep studies, support patients with PAP-related issues, and conduct polysomnogram scoring.
  • Oversees home sleep study logistics; sets up and scores home sleep testing devices.
  • Collects, analyzes, and integrates patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
  • Determines testing parameters/procedures in collaboration with the ordering physician or clinical director and in accordance with lab protocols.
  • Explains procedures and orients patients for sleep testing.
  • Selects and calibrates appropriate equipment to ensure proper functioning; applies electrodes and sensors per published standards.
  • Performs data acquisition while monitoring signal quality; identifies, corrects, and documents artifacts.
  • Documents observations including sleep stages, clinical events, procedural changes, and other significant findings to support scoring and interpretation.
  • Provides patient education and instructions related to sleep testing.
Requirements
  • Flu vaccination (no declinations or exemptions)
  • Certifications: RPSGT, RCP, CA License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 2 years experience with PSG and home sleep study scoring
  • First-time travelers accepted
Preferred
  • EEG certification
