Description - Your Role Awaits
- Conduct routine and complex laboratory analyses-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols.
- Ensure the accuracy of test results by troubleshooting discrepancies and performing necessary calibrations and preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments.
- Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples meticulously for a range of tests as needed.
- Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, contribute to training new staff or students, and help uphold exemplary lab quality standards.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, including ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
- ACSP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
- Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your time with us.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within diverse healthcare teams.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving in both high-pressure and dynamic situations.
