Job Summary:
Heinrich Chevrolet in Lockport, NY is seeking Level A & B  Automotive Technicians to join our team. As a full-time Flat-Rate hour technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics in accordance with company standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong knowledge of automotive systems and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for the auto industry. 

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, Flat-Rate hour position with a competitive salary of $80,000 to $130,000 per year depending on your skill level and productivity, paid weekly. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan.  Closed Sundays.  Work one Saturday every 6-8 weeks.  Air Conditioned Shop.  Above average support from Shop Dispatcher, Service Lane Staff & Parts Dept Staff. Electronic RO.  Quick service recommendation decisions with digital customer communications containing media.
Note:  New York pays retail time for warranty repair and diagnosis times.  This is 40-50% higher than manufacturer warranty labor times in other States.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of makes and models
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot problems
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts, time, and labor
• Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide accurate estimates
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
• Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or completion of an Automotive Education Program.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Valid driver's license
