Are you a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in SQL, Linux, and AWS, looking for a leadership role? Our client, a top organization in Washington, DC, is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technical solutions. This role requires proficiency in Jira and Confluence, as well as strong technical acumen and a self-starter mindset. You will be responsible for driving projects, collaborating across teams, and utilizing your technical and analytical expertise to deliver impactful results.

Key Skills:

  • SQL, Linux, AWS expertise for database management, system operations, and cloud services.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for managing workflows, collaboration, and documentation.
  • Strong technical acumen to understand complex systems and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter, driving tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Systems Engineering, or related field; or 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration in integrated environments.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience defining business process maps, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM/SAFE).
  • Experience with Project Life Cycle Management (PLM) artifacts.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting information systems and desktop applications.
  • Familiarity with Business Analyst tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Windows and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Incident response expertise and vendor liaison experience.
  • Familiarity with incident reporting applications like ServiceNow.
