Pay: $50-75/hr

Duration: Ongoing, long-term temp

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) in San Francisco, San Jose, or Rocklin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the successful implementation of complex logistics programs leveraging established project management methodologies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to assess risks, manage dependencies, and ensure overall program health, while communicating updates to leadership.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and Rally for managing extensive scopes of work, defining estimates, formulating execution plans, and facilitating alignment across teams.
  • Engage with business users and product owners to clarify and refine requirements for supply chain and logistics systems.
  • Oversee configuration and development efforts within warehouse management platforms.
  • Manage integrations between core logistics systems and related platforms, including OMS, merchandising systems, and carrier/3PL systems.
  • Supervise development and QA processes for integrations, reporting, analytics, and system performance monitoring.
  • Take ownership of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics analysis.
  • Coordinate quality control processes, maintain documentation, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify strategic interdependencies and partner with stakeholders to promptly resolve issues.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among engineering, architecture, QA, and product groups.
  • Engage with external vendors, ensuring deliverables are met and maintaining accountability for timelines and SLAs.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of program/project management experience in logistics, supply chain, or retail.
  • Strong technical understanding of logistics systems architecture and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with development teams to drive technical deliverables.
  • Proven success in managing large, complex logistics or retail programs.
  • Expertise in warehouse management systems (Manhattan preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally, SDLC).
  • Strong skills in roadmap development, budgeting, and metrics-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication abilities for both technical and executive levels.
  • Experience leading third-party vendors and managing cross-team dependencies.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, facilitation, and influence skills.
  • A high execution bias and readiness to take on hands-on tasks.
